Did you know ? ...
SPAM Bad : Email Good

The term SPAM can be derived from a Monty Python skit. In the skit, a restaurant serves its food with lots of spam, and the waitress repeats the word several times while describing the menu items. A group of Vikings in the corner start to sing a song...

"Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, lovely spam! Wonderful spam!"

And so we arrive at the meaning of the term: something that keeps repeating and repeating to great annoyance. Used in the context of Internet emails, it refers to UCE - Unsolicited Commercial Email.
